今日倉庫でカチカチとパソコン作業してたら、５歳の娘と２歳の息子がフラフラと遊びにきました。
いつもそこら辺においてある杉の丸太で遊んだり、のこぎり見つけては手当たり次第に木を切ってみたり、まぁいつも自由に遊んでおります。
今日も棚においてあるおもちゃのチェーンソーを取ってというので渡してあげた所、いっちょまえにヘルメットを被って遊んでいました。
いつも山山山山言っている俺ですが、実はあんまり子どもに強要とかはしていないんです。
「山はいいぞ！」とか「山師なれよ！！」とか全然言いません。
だって重いですもん(笑)たぶんそんなの子ども的には面白くないと思うんです。だから別に特別な事も言いませんし、特別な事もしてません。
ただ、ごくごく当たり前のように木と遊べて、山師っていう仕事が特別な事じゃなくて、山で暮らすって事が何も不思議な事じゃない。そんな風に感じて貰えたらなと思います。山は楽しいけど怖い。木で遊ぶのは楽しいけど危ない。そういう自然への畏怖だったり、危険への対応力みたいなのをごくごく自然に身に付けていって欲しいと思います。そう、いうなれば「生きる力」を身に付けていって欲しい。遊びと暮らしの延長線上でね、自然に身に付けていって欲しい。
本当にだけど、うちの子に山師やって欲しいとはこれっぽっちも思っていません。自分のやりたいと思う事があればそれを頑張って達成して欲しい。
ただ俺の姿を見て、「山師なりたい」って思ってもらえたらそれは勿論嬉しいです。
付け加えるならば、自分の子どもが山師やりたいって思うぐらいじゃないと、山師の担い手を増やす事はできないでしょうけどねｗ
「将来はパパの山の仕事のお手伝いをする！」
「大きくなったらケーキ屋さんになって、倉庫の横にお店作るからパパ毎日食べ来てもいいよ」
いつもなりたいものはバラバラだけど、パパへの愛を感じる優しい娘なんです。お願いだからずっとパパに優しくしてね。昔から山師は娘に弱いんだから。反抗期とかきたらパパ泣いちゃうから。毎晩飲んじゃうから。
ま、毎晩飲む私を見て、「お酒飲み過ぎじゃないの？」って既に突っ込まれているんだけどね。
さえちゃん、将来は山師ができるケーキ屋さんでもいいからね。
